C'est un chou rave en français....

It's a kohlrabi!

Lovely cut into 1cm thick matchsticks and stir-fried with ginger, chilli, garlic and soy sauce.

Also lovely in coleslaw or a salad with carrot and beetroot.

C'est un chou rave of course. i got one in my fridge right now! and a great receipe in living food with a macadamia cheese!on my blog www.magicwakame.com ok it's not the most simple one... tu peux aussi juste le passer à la mandoline et le rajouter au contenu d'une salade ;-) PS/ i love your blog really nice!

Swede, trunip, rutabaga?! Oh, kohlrabi!! I'd chip em! Or make a creamy puree. I like Girl Foodie's suggestion too!

superbe choux rave, je mange les feuilles sautées au wok et la rave râpée avec une sauce au raifort, ou une vinaigrette vietnamienne...
ou je le ménlage / avec ma salade de betterave crue rapée + des noix
